Double Exposure Page 6

The person was found in this old ladies garden by the back door, he had been hit over the head with a garden spade. The spade was on the ground near the body and the old lady picked it up to put it in the shed.

Harrison had gone round the house to see if he could find out any information, he was never seen after this. This presents a mystery, that involved Samantha doing her own enquiries and uncovering more than she bargained for. Samantha worked with a young policewoman who was new to community policing she was so naïve poor Samantha had to help her to grow up fast.

They made a number of local enquiries that led to an investigation of the neighbourhood it seemed that a local man was seen out wearing red lipstick and eye makeup. People used to see him on buses and in local shops but never suspected that he would have anything to do with the death of a man. He was quiet and kept himself to himself not even talking to anyone at the bus stop.

The first indication of any problem came when he was in his garden late at night digging a hole; Samantha and the police officer went inside the back yard by climbing the wall. They noticed a large sack by the wall and opened it to their surprise there was Harrison tied up inside the sack due to be buried.

Harrison was alive and began to regain consciousness the next thing was some old lady running out of the house swinging a spade at Samantha. The young officer reacted swiftly by disarming her and immediately hand cuffing her. In the struggle her grey wig came off and she was bold, Samantha then noticed the red lipstick and that it was the man form the bus stop.

Harrison had been hit on the head but recovered he was lucky that Samantha was there to prevent him from being buried alive. This was yet another story from criminal world and one that was remembered with other stories at office parties.
